Kim is a Kansas girl and graduated from Kansas State University in 1992 with a BA in Sec. Education: Language Arts. She has taught in a variety of schools and grade levels. Kim began working for the ESU 4 as a technology coordinator in 2006.
In December of 2019, Kim graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with a MA in Special Education, Advanced Practitioner: Assistive Technology.
