My name is Dr. Tanya Armstrong. Currently I serve as the Superintendent at the Nebraska Center for the Education of Children who are Blind or Visually Impaired (NCECBVI). In addition to supporting programs on campus, I work collaboratively with school districts and Educational Service Units statewide through professional development activities and consultation. I also serve as the state coordinator for the Nebraska Deaf-Blind Project and an Ex-Officio Trustee for the American Printing House for the Blind.
I feel fortunate that my entire career has been devoted to the field of special education and all of my experiences have involved working with students who have sensory disabilities, their parents, and talented teachers and support staff.
